  1. Myself, R.K.Panicker, aged 63 years, hailing from Thrissur, completed the ITRANS training programme just recently. What can I say! I loved the training and I can assure everyone that there was never a boring moment for any of us in the group. The faculty is a group of highly motivated teachers, led by the Chairman himself. To me, those contact classes and online interaction with the teachers and fellow students were really energizing. Unlike other coaching institutions, including the major ones, the ITRANS stands out as being special. They do not, unlike many other leading outfits, go back to sleep after collecting the fees from the students. Every student is personally known to the teachers by name, and the faculty's presence is felt by their motivating and positive energy. I wish there were more levels to the present course. If one follows the standard set by ITRANS I am sure it will be very easy to reach across to the other side. So follow those masters.

During the course, one is advised to improve vocabulary, by many methods, including writing 20 or 25 words as part of the assignment. A pessimist would take it as a silly joke, but truly speaking, it is not so. It improves, even multiplies one's vocabulary. Good language skills is an asset for learning MT. Listening to english broadcasts, from leading news channels, reading english newspapers, and even novels or non-fiction is an added advantage to improve vocabulary.

Nothing said there is silly and therefore should not be taken lighty. You come out wiser and a better man than you went in. Ofcourse, that feeling always would be there, that I could have put a little more effort, a shove instead of the push would have yielded better results.

To me, it is not money wasted at all. Never. The course is worth it. There are people in that Organziation whom one should learn from, emulate and follow. Gems of wisdom fall down! Collect them! while you are there. That is an advise to future ITRANSCRIPTIONISTS.

EXCEPTIONAL ! is too little a word to describe ITRANS. If there is one it is ITRANS.
I wish long life and progress to this institution and its dedicated staff everything best that is possible under the Sun. I can only wish and pray. They are a set of very nice people you will remember with gratitude.

    R.K.PANICKER.
